Meredith - Donate to Best Friends

I just donated $25 to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and you should do. I am as broke as the next college student, but I love animals, and they do the best work on the planet. They take in the hardest luck cases, the “non-adoptables,” and turn them into adoptables. I’m the kind of person who goes for the ugly cats, older cats, and special needs cats at the adoption fairs, and that’s the kind of animals Best Friends takes care of. Animals who would have been euthanized if it wasn’t for Best Friends. To adopt a dog or cat, you have to visit them in Utah, so I won’t be doing that…but I donated, and you can too. You can sponsor a specific animal for $25, or do a general donation like I did. You can read about them at CharityNavigator - only 5.6% of their budget goes to administrative expenses. I think it’s definitely a worthwhile cause.
